      CORNERMEN / PEOPLE RULES 

      • There are strict rules around Cornermen/People applied on Fight Day.
      • Teams with  1 - 2 Fighters on the official card (MAX 3 Cornermen/people) 
      • Teams with 3+ Fighters on the official card (MAX 5 Cornermen/people)
      • All fighters MUST visit the main desk upon arrival to receive pre-allocated corner wristbands. ( Parents, Partners, spouses and  family members are NOT corner people, unless they are your official coaches/trainers ) A valid paid for entry ticket will be required, and this is non-negotiable.
      • Please be mindful of this to avoid any issues with the security management team.  

       

      FIGHTER TICKETS & COMMISSION POLICY

      • ALL TICKET SALES & FINANCES MUST BE SETTLED WITHIN (FIGHT-WEEK) COMMERNCING 17TH FEB 2025, BEFORE FIGHT DAY ( contact us as priority ) !!!  
        • All tickets are tracked, and you MUST return any unsold tickets immediately upon on arrival ( It's your responsibility )
        • Commission will be paid after you fight / compete. Please return to main desk to settle

        • Walkout music MUST be submitted 2 weeks before Fight Week
        • Late arrangements may lead to any song being selected by the promotion

        SCALE CALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS

         ( 14 - STEP GUIDE )

        YOU WILL REQUIRE SOMEONE ASSIST YOU TO RECORD YOUR VIDEO WHEN WEIGHING-IN !!! 

         

        1. START THE VIDEO RECORDING
        2. SHOW FIGHTER'S FULL FACE AND BODY 
        3. ( FIGHTER ) SAY YOUR NAME AND FIGHT TEAM 
        4. YOU "MUST" SAY THE REQUIRED PASSWORD ( FAILURE TO DO THIS MAKES YOUR FOOTAGE/VIDEO INVALID ) 
        5. PLACE THE SCALE ON A HARD SURFACE FLOOR
        6. SHOW SCALE READING AT ( 0KG ) CLEARLY
        7. CALIBRATION - USE ANY (CLEARLY NUMBERED) WEIGHT OR KETTLE BELL 
        8. CLEARLY SHOW THE NUMBER IN (KG) STATED ON THE KETTLE BELL OR WEIGHT YOU ARE INTENDING TO USE !!! 
        9. PLACE THE KETTLE BELL OR WEIGHT ON THE SCALE & SHOW READING CLEARLY
        10. REMOVE WEIGHT FROM THE SCALE AND ALLOW TO RESET BACK TO ( 0KG ) & SHOW READING
        11. STAND ON TO THE SCALE SHOWING YOUR FULL FACE AND BODY 
        12. ( DO NOT STEP OFF THE SCALE YET ) - CLEARLY SHOW THE NUMBER READING ON THE SCALE IN ( KG )
        13. SHOW FIGHTER'S FULL FACE AND BODY AGAIN
        14. SAVE & SUBMIT FULL VIDEO TO THE NOMINATED LOCATION AS INSTRUCTED

         

        IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

         

        • FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS WILL RESULT IN A REQUEST TO RETAKE YOUR VIDEO CORRECTLY !!

         

        • PLEASE BE PATIENT WHILST YOUR FOOTAGE IS BEING ASSESSED. WE WILL RESPONSED AT THE EARLIEST WITHIN WEIGH-IN PERIOD ( SIMPLY ENSURE YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS CORRECTLY TO AVOID ANY ISSUES )

         

        • YOU CAN ONLY RE-HYDRATE ONCE YOUR WEIGH-IN IS APPROVED AND CONFIRMATION IS GIVEN.

        GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING
        ------------

        WEIGHINS: (Adults) day before and will be via video link unless stated otherwise. (Juniors) fight day, via video as instructed above.

         

        RULES MEETING: Rules meeting will be held by Wolkernite Officials on Fight Day. All Fighters and Coaches to please attend.

         

        HAND WRAPS: These will be checked and signed-off before your gloves are on. NO TAPE is allowed over the knuckles.

        Cut person(s) will be available on site to do all the hand wraps (charges apply)

         

        GLOVES: All Fighters are to bring their own fight equipment. You must wear appropriate, clean and in good condition gloves , shins and other listed equipment ( No rips or tears )

        • MMA - Amateur bubble dome type & Pro's to wear Pro-style gloves.
        • K-1 – 10oz Boxing gloves (must be covered and taped)
        • BOXING – 10oz / 12oz Gloves (must be covered and taped)

         

        Please Note: All gloves will be checked and taped with red or blue tape, depending on your corner.

         

        SHIN GUARDS: Shin guards are standard on amateur K-1. All Fighters to wear soft cushion insteps, unless agreed wear  (Sparring type shin guards) 

        • PRO Fights: No Shin pads.
        • SEMI PRO Fights: No Shin pads.

         

        SHORTS: MUST NOT have pockets, zips, buckles, or clasps.

         

        GROIN GUARD/GUM SHIELD: Fighter must have these prior to leaving the warm-up area. ( Groin Guard Not a requirement on female fighters)

         

        FINGER/TOENAILS: Must be clean and trimmed and in good condition.

         

        HAIR PRODUCTS: No gels, wax or Vaseline type products are to be applied to your hair or anywhere on the body. You will be asked to wash it all off before entering the cage should you have any pre applied before your fight ( All Vaseline products will be applied by officials at the cage )

         

        WALK-OUTS: Fighters must be ready to walk out as soon as the previous fight’s fighters have walked in case of a quick stoppage. Failure to be ready on time, or failure to meet any of the above standards may result in your bout being pushed back to later in the card or cancelled.

         

        CORNERMEN / PEOPLE RULES EXPANDED:

        • Teams with  1 - 2 Fighters on the official card ( MAX 3 Cornermen/people ) 
        • Teams with 3+ Fighters on the official card ( MAX 5 Cornermen/people )

         A MAXIMUM of (2) TWO cornermen are allowed to enter the cage between rounds.

         Corners MUST NOT pour excess water over their fighter between rounds.

         

        RESPECT: Verbal or physical abuse of our staff or other participating teams is strictly prohibited. Any reports of such conduct from fighters or coach will lead in a full investigation and can ultimately result in a permanent exclusion from future events, if deemed inappropriate and harmful to others.

         

        REFEREE & JUDGES ( OFFICIALS ) DECISIONS : All referee and fight decisions are final. Fight decision made in the cage, stay in the cage and will not be changed or reversed.

         

        PLEASE NOTE: If a fight ends via stoppage, ONLY medical staff are to enter the cage until the fighter is cleared. Fighters MUST NOT jump out of or onto the cage while celebrating.

        There shall be no striking to the head or face permitted for any; and all levels of Youth classes for ( M M A ) contests.
